About this test
This test assesses narcissistic TRAITS inspired by the Narcissistic Personality Inventory (Raskin & Terry, 1988), the Pathological Narcissism Inventory (Pincus, 2009) and the PID-5, covering BOTH documented sides: grandiose (sense of importance, need for admiration, lack of empathy) and vulnerable (fragile esteem, hypersensitivity to criticism). Having good self-esteem is not pathological narcissism. This test measures traits, never a diagnosis, and should not be confused with 'narcissistic abuse' (a non-DSM notion of relational control).
