Hyperactivity and Impulsivity
Assessment of hyperactive and impulsive dimensions
About this test
This test specifically targets the hyperactive and impulsive dimensions of functioning, often present in ADHD but which can also manifest independently. It explores three axes: motor restlessness (difficulty remaining still, internal tension), verbal impulsivity (tendency to interrupt, to speak without thinking) and need for stimulation (constant search for novelty and excitement). This questionnaire will help you better understand your energy and behavioral profile, and identify situations where these traits may become problematic.
Dimensions assessed
- ●Motor Restlessness- Level of physical agitation, difficulty remaining still, involuntary movements and internal bodily tension.
- ●Verbal Impulsivity- Tendency to interrupt, to speak without thinking, to dominate conversations and to respond hastily.
- ●Need for Stimulation- Constant search for novelty, intolerance of boredom, need for excitement and risk-taking to maintain arousal.
